Unfortunately, I am doing the same :( ................
i.e I am logging as "vyom" to my machine. the login has no admin previlages!, but PostGre says that it has!
So I tried to use "runas" with "/user:vyom" ......
Will creating another temporary user-ID and re-logging work?

Can you login as the runas user and leave that out of the command? This would hopefully avoid starting a new shell so you could see what the output is.
