v20 patch set (I was trying 0008, 0009 patch) not getting cleanly apply on latest commit also getting compilation error due to refactor in below commit.

Very interesting and certainly relevant (the parts I've read so far), though we don't have multiple consumers. Multiplexing one thread so that it is both a consumer and a producer is an extra twist though. -- Thomas Munro http://www.enterprisedb.com
