Ok let me ask the other way - Would you suggest installing the psqlodbc library so that all dependencies are resolved or else just packaging single psqlodbcw.so (which doesn't look like the correct way)?
The intention is to make odbc work on RHEL5, RHEL6, OpenSuSE, CentOS here.
Am looking for psqlodbcw.so, particularly based on rpms released per platform.
If the application need to work on platforms like RHEL5, RHEL6, OpenSuSE, CentOS then psqlodbcw.so for all these respective platforms needs to be downloaded and then packaged separately.
As per flavor library will have dependency on other OS specific libraries. Is that correct?
Is there any particular platform which has any issues?
