Hi,
I cannot compile anymore using source from SVN.

I do:
$ make distclean
$ sh ./bootstrap
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --without-wxaui
$ make
[...]

This is with wxWidget 2.6.3.2.1.1 and gcc 4.1.1 on linux.

Do you have any idea on what to check?

You cannot build without wxaui (yet).
