Обсуждение: Availability of parallel jobs option in pg_dumpall
Does anyone know if the the -j option is available for the pg_dumpall command in PG 9.3.x? There is no reference of it in the documentation (unlike pg_dump) which implies that pg_dumpall functions differently than pg_dump. Thanks, Mel.

-j is only available for pg_dump, that is correct. It requires an output format of "directory", which is not supported by pg_dumpall.
