Обсуждение: Postgres Tool Question
Are there any tools for generating reports for Postgres? I searched RedHat, Enterprise Linux, the HOWTO, and haven't found anything. Sam -- _____________________ / Samuel A. You can always connect to PostgreSQL via MS-Access and generate reports out of that also. Brett W. I know I can use perl. I already do, but sometimes you want your reports to look a little cleaner than just plain old text. I know I could probably throw in some LaTeX or Groff, but I kinda wanted something a bit more user-friendly, I would also like something to develop complex reports. As far as that little MS Access comment goes. It took me a long time to find a job where I just use Linux, I don't want to regress to Windows. :) Sam "Brett W. I think the latest version of Applix has ODBC drivers for PostgreSQL. I'm sure you could generate some nice looking reports out of that. Brett W. a2ps is a great program for making plain old text look decent. I think it will also accept latex or postscript, which you could embed with Perl. Search "a2ps" on freshmeat.net. --- "Samuel A.
