Обсуждение: PostgreSQL on Cobalt Qube2?
I was wondering if anyone is using or has used PostgeSQL on a Cobalt Qube2? Or on any MIPs device? Should foresee any great difficulties? Ken Causey

Hopefully, they'll get 7.0.2 built on MIPS soon, as I know there are some problems there. -- Lamar Owen WGCR Internet Radio 1 Peter 4:11
I don't really need an RPM. I don't have any problem with compiling it myself. I guess what I'm wondering is if it would be difficult to configure. I'm guessing from what you said that there are some known problems with configuring 7.0.2. Is that correct? Is there a prognosis for this to be improved with later patches or 7.1? I'm quite comfortable installing from tarballs on an Intel based Linux system, I'm just unsure about the MIPS based ones. Since there is no significant difference between Qube2 and RaQ2, you should not have problem, I guess. Please let me know if you have any trouble. -- Tatsuo Ishii

I've used 6.5.3 and 7.0 on a Cobalt RAQ2 (mips) with no problem. In both cases it compiled clean from the distribution without any extra hacking required. regards Dave White Webdesigna Ltd -- Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie!'... till you can find a rock.
