I am going to implement large object manager
for certain samll education purposed DBMS.
So I've read the paper " Large Object Suport in POSTGRES" - Michael Stonbraker, Michael
Olson
But it contains nothing about the detail.
That is, how's it implemented, what's the problem,
especially how does it recover when failure occurred and handle objects between memory and disk
or client and server.
Could you explain the detail, or recommend some resources I should read ?
