print "Hello world ;-)"; not sure whether this is the correct list for am subject I would like to ask you the following: Has anybody ever implemented a PostgreSQL-db, replicated identically on two servers granting each other hot stand by if either of them fails? Can somebody provide a link to a webpage regarding this subject? Thank you very much for your support malte.
Hey, Not sure if this is what you're after.. have you checked out RServ? (Don't know the URL for it, can only find it on http://www.pgsql.com/download/ ). Have no idea about hotswapping or anything... This might get you started anyway. > print "Hello world ;-)"; > > not sure whether this is the correct list for am subject I would > like to ask you the following: > > Has anybody ever implemented a PostgreSQL-db, replicated > identically on two servers granting each other hot stand by > if either of them fails? > > Can somebody provide a link to a webpage regarding this subject? > > Thank you very much for your support > > malte. -------------- Chris Smith http://www.squiz.net
