Обсуждение: PHP Installation
Dear All,
I have been trying to get these three (Win XP, PHP4 and Apache)working together. I've got as far as my localhost gets recognised,(welcome page) but my test.php instead of being interpreted it is listing the php code . So, I cannot test PHP pages. I guess I did something wrong during the installation. Also I cannot understand why all this mistery on the installation. If the wizard is not able to put the right files to the right folders and put the right directives to the right place in the .conf file what's the point to have it?
Sorry, I am very annoyed. My next step would be to use MySQL as well.
Please, feel free to ask questions before posting your final advice.

This is a PostgreSQL-PHP list... Not a PHP-only liste. Please do subscribe to mailing lists @ php.net... > Sorry, I am very annoyed. My next step would be to use MySQL as well. Dear Rinku , > I have been trying to get these three (Win XP, PHP4 and Apache)working > together. You have been prevously also advised to subscribe apropriate mailing list. not only this you were also directed to apachefriends.org which have a ready made combo off all that above things. Instead of all this help you could not get it working at this point I doubt your might. > Sorry, I am very annoyed. My next step would be to use MySQL as well. "My next step would be to use MySQL as well" Those words tickles me and we on this good list feel blackmailed. In Bhai language we would say "Bidu bolta ki thoku idhar hi" (hindi) Regards, Vishal

Please don´t ask people on a PostgreSQL list how to set up a mere webserver and even set it up with another database than PostgreSQL. If you need help to install a PHP/Apache including PostgreSQL connects, you are welcome. If you ask how to use a competitor´s product, ask them. Reagrds, Frank.
