Hi, Yes, I cant't load the JDBC driver !!! There must be a silly set-up somewhere, but I can't find it. Here some informations that might help you : 1. Mandake 7.2 2. the postmaster is run from init script as follow : su -l postgres -c "/usr/bin/pg_ctl -D $PGDATA -o '-i' -p /usr/bin/postmaster start > /dev/null 2>&1" 3. the very last line of my /var/lib/pgsql/data/pg_hba.conf : local all trust host all 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 trust 4. the JDBC driver is in the CLASSPATH :...;/home/nusa/Java/PostgreSQL/jdbc7.0-1.2.jar 5. in my java file : import java.sql.*; // no import org.postgresql.* ! ... try { Clss.forName("org.postgresql.Driver"); } catch (ClassNotFoundExceptione) {} ...
