Can some tell me how to query for information in the System Catalog.  I
don't see where the documentation states which database to use.  I am using
WINNT 4.0 w/ version 7.1.3.  Thanks in advance!

System info is in each database separately.  Use psql -E with backslash
commands like \d to see typical queries.

have a look at:
http://www.postgresql.org/idocs/index.php?pg-system-catalogs.html

also connect to any database and look at all of the tables / views prefixed
pg_.
