Обсуждение: Two questions about existing sponsors
All, 1) Why is this company on sponsors? Who works for them? Conova: http://www.conova.com/ 2) Shouldn't NTT-Data be on here? Several PostgreSQL hackers work for NTT. -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco

They donated the largest dedicated server we currently have to replace the one we used to have from Pervasive. It's not currently live as I'm waiting for Marc to finish off some work on it first. > 2) Shouldn't NTT-Data be on here? Several PostgreSQL hackers work for NTT. Full time hackers? (iirc, that was the criteria we originally agreed on). Who are they? Also bear in mind that NTT Comware is not the same as NTT Data for example, so we need to be sure what part of NTT people are actually from before we add them. Regards, Dave.

I know that Satoshi works for NTT-Data, but I'm not sure about the rest of the NTT people. I'll ask him. -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco

Dave, > We've always classed server providers as sponsors. EHPG for example. Hmmm, you're right, it is rather muddy. OK, save it until we redo the sponsors page, when we'll separate them out. --Josh Berkus

Bruce, > They are all NTT-Data. Actually, I talked to Satoshi today and there are actually *three* different NTT companies working on PostgreSQL. He suggested that we just credit "the NTT Group": http://www.ntt.co.jp/img/logo_nttg_e.gif -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL @ Sun San Francisco
